Midnite 5048 Inverter Short Circuit Protection Error Code

I just went to connect a new electric line to my electrical panel that is powered by my 5048 and immediately I got a fault on the 5048 with the code being Inverter Short Circuit Protection. I pulled that breaker from the panel and tried to turn the 5048 off to restart it, but it wouldn’t turn off. I even disconnected the batteries from it, and it wouldn’t turn off. Any ideas where to start on getting this code to clear? Thanks, in advance, for any help!
