Hello all! Long time lurker and I finally registered so I could message @Michael B Caro to buy 16 LifePO4 cells. :D

My current storage setup is 18650 packs (1 14S120P pack in production and 1 ready to build) with a Batrium BMS. I've had this battery in production for about 1.5 year and it's been great so far. I've been working on my 2nd pack (gathering cells, testing, sorting, etc) while using the first pack.

With that said, I've decided that I'm going to switch gears and moving to LifePO4 for the following reasons:

1) Maintenance (1,680 cells per 14S120P)
2) Quicker deployment (No soldering or spot welding, again 1,680 cells per 14S120P, ugh)
3) Safety (While I haven't had any issues, I believe LifePO4 is a safer choice)
4) Space savings

My current solar setup is ~5kW of solar with (2) PCM60X charge controllers. Last but not least, I have a Magnum MS448PAE inverter.

This system currently powers my shop and I'm hoping to bring power into the house at some point.
