Just want to know if it's safe to mix LiFePo4 batteries with Customed LTO batteries?
I'm looking to build a bank of the LFP and use the LTO to start the vehicle.

I have thought about this but never got to the point of really figuring out what cells the current is going to come from....not sure the LFP battery's you list can take the current demand.

I made 4 LFP 4p5s packs to run a race car off without any charging functions. They were 55 ah cells capable of around 120 amps cell each so 3.5kwh at 480 amps and 16 volts.

I do think you can mix them is the total pack voltage is close. At 16 volts 5 LPF cells match with 7 LTO cells nicely....but 16 volts is high for a car with an alternator.

4 LPF is 12.8 volts and would match to 5.5 LTO cells so I wouldn't try that combo....

I have made two sets of jump backs from from the left over 55 ah cells and also made a LPF motorcycle battery from RC car batteries.

Are you planning on running the car on it or just for starting?

The xspower lithium battery would provide the cranking amps while the LiFePo4 would be the reserve energy for the audio system.
