It's funny because that damn dog, who has probably chewed up thousands of things, finally got a little karma. The look on his face as he watches the fire is priceless.

Just both dogs reactions were amazing, they knew it was wrong and alerted the owners but were intrigued and spazzed out all at the same time.

I've had to replace cables and hoses that the cats have chewed on. They really went to town on the cables. Unfortunately, there was no karma for the cats. Hoses were replaced with braided hose, cables got a coating of hot sauce.

My old lab used to like to eat dry wall
She got her tongue into a receptical one time and I never saw her lick at the walls again.
Another chum had a dog that lied to chew too.
I saw the end of an extension cord he was chewing and I think that dog learned the same lesson

I think it must have had LiPo pouch cells within it, and a canine canine punctured one. It has to be that for it to have gone up so quickly, as a short circuit in the cable could have taken longer for the current to cause warming to reach the point of thermal runaway.

That was just a spontaneous spark, like you get from a punctured Lithium polymer cell.

I guess it was rather the dog biting through the cells them selves, puncturing, short circuiting. Rocket engine.
