Monitoring software - Any decent pref free apps that can monitor MPP/Voltronic models?

So having just gone live with an MPP6048 inverter setup I would like some better monitoring than the IMO rubbish WatchPower app.

If poss I'd like a free app that can connect to the unit on its wifi connection as don't want to run cables etc. Just something that does actual live or very near live monitoring as the WP app seems to only update every 10 mins or maybe 5. Access to daily/weekly/month/yearly logs would also be good.

Are there any free mobile apps etc or is it a case of fitting a Raspberry Pi and then using a paid app like Solar assistant etc?

Free? I guess because we can't touch software we think it shouldn't cost anything.
What did you pay for that inverter?
Crack open your wallet and buy Solar Assistant.
It will do everything you're looking for and then some.
I love it

Working in IT I do actually get where you're coming from and not everything software can be free. However having just pretty much emptying my bank account to build a solar porch and buy all the solar kit I am looking first at free or at least a 30 day trial of an app etc. Also in many areas we have really good open source software that is free or relies on donations and I'm happy to donate to something I've tried and like. I am looking at Solar Assistant as well but not only does that cost but would also mean installing a raspberry pi etc. rather than just a mobile app. I will most likely go down that route in the near future though.

If you have any old spare computer kicking around and are a bit useful with software you could try home assistant. I have my solark connected directly to home assistant now and looking to do my voltronic inverters and battery BMSes next.

Try with
MultiSIBControl
PD AXPERT
ICC IS NOW SMH ;)
emonPi
Solar Assistant
have his alternatives, also payed, but you can try them before payment
