A little late to the party.
-don’t put holes in your metal roof If you can help it.
-use s5! clamps on standing seam.
-put “strut” on the s5! clamps. As wide as you can get (1 5/8”?)
-more airspace between the roof and panels is better. Some place I read recommended 4“. I think it was S5!
-heat does degrade production.
Or just mount them and deal with the reduced output.
