Prior to butchering more holes, a little feedback would be helpful., on my cargo trailer.
The 3" pieces of 3/4 extruded are for feet, the 1" inch the roof rail, which will be permanently mounted to the roof.
The intent is to have the panels easily removable without ever touching the roof screws again.
Q1: 40 x 80 panel running lengthwise across numerous steel trusses, so railed/ supported on the long sides. Would/ should a 3" foot every 20ish inches be enough?
Q2: At the panel's most stressed point ( the centre) should I add something across for support re: flexion?
Q3: From the pic, clearance from roof to rail is only an inch , a very closed in inch on the long sides.
Not enough airflow?
Simplest solution to that issue would be taller feet.
Thoughts??
