This MPP 2424LV-MSD has been working flawlessly for 19 mos. Wired to 16 3.5 /100 Lipo4 for 24v/200AH. It's not waking up to 34V from the panels or 122v from the generator. Normally turn off the inverter before sundown and the batteries usually show 26 +/- V. This AM they show 20.7 on a direct read. Low voltage cutoff is set to 21. In the past when LV cutoff has triggered the unit remained awake and receiving the panels or the generator output. The input reset button offers no resistance. Don't have a schematic to know if there are internal fuses that can be checked.... and the micro screws that attach the cover round out when removal is attempted. Troubleshooting guide mentioned exceptionally low voltage of < 1.4 as a possible cause of no power on and these cells are at 2.6+/-. Only have a 12V charger so going to break the pack in half and give that a try... any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Got it to work. Brought the now 2 batteries up to 12.2 v, after splitting apart the 24v bank. Put it back together getting a now 24.4 out of the bank... should work right... nope. After pricing out a Growatt 3000w / 24v unit as a replacement.... gave it another shot and jumped around the OrientPower provided BMS.. and now it works....taking current from both the panels and the generator. Haven't done the next logical problem solving step of re-connecting the BMS... that will have to wait until the bank gets back up to 28v . Reply
