Doing more research, mosty harmless
I am not sure I would attach anything to the spot welded terminals on those batteries except a cable going to a secured fuse mount. At 12v it could be a single post and mrbf, at any other voltage I would use the class T.
As fragile as those welded terminals can be I might use silicone cable to do the hookup.
