I'm researching combination of farmland and solar mounted, vertically mounted bifacial modules facing East-West appears could be most cost effective. Wondering your thoughts and proper equipment Besides obvious panels, i'd need a mounting system, and don't even think i'd need a tracking system, unless it would be worth it for the non-growing season of crops i actually have them track. Does anyone have any thoughts of this type of configuration? The farming benefit of panels not blocking sunlight for crops that need lots of sun (especially here in Upper Midwest doesn't share same climate challeges as land further south).
I know in this picture below these are bifacial panels, and they don't tilt....and according to article orient East-West which is different than any other Ag/Solar configurations I've seen.
