MultiPlus Commissioning without Battery?

Is it possible for me to turn on my Victron MultiPlus 24/3000 without DC connected? Just for project management purposes, I’d like to essentially use it to pass through shore power to my load center while I complete the DC side of my system.

I’m pretty sure the answer is no.

Is there a reason not to try it out?
Personally I would want to know if a battery failure means my inverter/charger won't bypass ac.
If it were so I would be cooking up a bypass for the bypass.
I believe @Diysolar123 already did this.
