My Experience with a Daly Smart BMS / BT

It needs some charge current to activate. Charge through the BMS. After it activates your can remove the charger and it will continue to operate.
The BT port will Shut Down after some period of time. The Shut Down Delay is controlled by a parameter in the Configuration menu.
There was a thread that said to set it at 15300 in order to prevent BT Shut Down.

Bluetooth is not yet active if it only says "Device name". You can apply a charge voltage or start it with the light board. You can also hook up a momentary switch to the proper pins to get it started. After it starts working you can increase the timeout value to "65535s" keep the Bluetooth working.
Mine just powered up yesterday. It took 5-7 minutes hooked up before I got the same voltage at the load breaker as I had at the batteries.
