My next inverter! (Sol-Ark)

If the firmware determines their compliance with UL 1741SA I suspect the firmwar may not be the same if the DEYE is not UL compliant.
The deye 8k has all the certifications the sol-ark carries as they are electrically the same if they make changes in that regard they will have to recertify most likely.

Ummmm, the question is, what else could you possibly need?

Check out everything it can do.

What else do you think it needs?
  • Time of use shifting
  • Zero Grid give-back (Solar Stingy!)
  • Net-Metering (All the UL and NEC certifications)
    • 16. Grid Setup
      a. Grid Sell: maximum watts sold to grid
      b. Limited To Home: Limits power produced by the system to match the demand of the home
      c. Limited To Load: Limits power produced by the system to match the demand of connected loads
      d. Time of Use: Use battery power to support the programmed mode at selectable times/watts/DoD
  • 8ms switch over to the battery bank (48V).
    • Batt Empty V: (Recommendations: 47V for AGMs, 50.2V for Lithium Iron Phosphate)
  • 120/240/208 3 phase, whatever you want.
  • High voltage MPPT's, so no dicking around with the "sweet spot" and worrying about amps.
  • A/C IN (Generator)
  • A/C Out (Critical loads)
  • A/C IN/OUT (Net-Meter)
  • Parallelable
  • No Battery installation!
1021 Days later.
15K Arrives.
$8000 seems like a lot of money, right?
See what $7.83 a day can do.

How do you like the LLT bms?

How do you like the LLT bms?
I don't think it is worth anything.

The only sort of "BMS" I can advocate for is an Active Balancer that has at least 1 amp of balancing.

Now that I have the max Voltage set with the charge controller and the low Voltage cutoff controlled by the inverter, I don't use anything that the BMS has features to do. When I used to overcharge the battery, the BMS did have a good alarm if a cell gone rogue, like way over 3.65V. The screen is neat to watch. Now that I have set the battery to charge to a level that will keep the battery within normal limits, I haven't looked at the screen in 6 months.
