sorry D71 your not making much sense... guessing typos but are you speaking about Jan6? yeah nobody burned anything down then and the only person seriously wounded by what happened was a female named ashley babbit and another female that the cops beat down (forgot her name, she died as well) so no flames, no burned out cities.... maybe we would have been better off if they had burned DC to the ground... not sure ATM which would have provided the best answer.

I agree with you Will but sometimes people are obtuse to the point you just do not want to work with them anymore. and the whole running and crying to whomever they think will support their arguments when they do not instantly win/lose an argument tends to raise ones hackles after a while.

this is exactly how government service works... you get the professional victim class and unfortunately I tend to unload on them. He @CaySol wanted to be insulting with his verbiage and method of speaking.... I was just more direct and did not try to hide my thoughts IRT him. @OpenNRG my apologies, you did not deserve the vitriol and thats my mistake.

when I screw up and get sent to detention I assume I have screwed up and don't argue with the mods about it... said it several times its not my playground and we are lucky to get to play in it.

naw on working days I am reading these posts at 2300-0200 my time and have had a couple of stiff ones... it tends to loosen the tongue not necessarily for the better at times. right now its working hours but my work is done for the week and I am closing shop early to go up to the cabin to get away from the city, social media and just soak in the hot tub

What was on display that day in jan 2021 was simple fake professional wrestling .... where fans were running at emotional red line.

A disgrace so large they needed a pardon from the person that sent them in that direction.
The whole rioting lot should have been put down in a most extreme manner.
i think that is exactly What the Right would have screamed if it were the Left rioting like that in Jan 2021 to a Trump win.

I am fairly certain had the cop been White and the person shot ra black that it would have burned. However that was not the case as it was ppl on the Right Rioting because they did not get their way. Imagine had Trump not been reelected 2024. Those ppl on Right placed in prison for their bad decisions would still be in prison. Rightly so.

To be clear If it were me running this chit chat forum and ppl were complaining about content but still posting in Chit Chat.... they would be banned from this entire site. They want to cancel free speech and thus deserve no voice for themselves.

No sense in wasting the mods time. There are about ZERO websites where ppl have the freedoms like allowed here. Not on X or Facebook for a definite - Free speech was cancelled on FB with a picture post of Harris having red knees where nothing was stated otherwise. Hahaha 30 days or so. On X ppl were doing about same where Left were allowed voices while Right were cancelled. X is still Not Free Speech so all the Right now praising Musk are delusional.

The entire web is under attack more for freedom of speech every day where a person wants their voice heard but also want other ppl cancelled and silenced. That is not free speech in action. Free speech is not always pretty, and it is not 1 sided. We have that here for free speech on chit chat where Both sides get to chit chat now. Be thankful.

Just a notice: The RIGHT and LEFT have been at a point of wanting to silence the other for so long that whatever view is shown the opposite is immediately drawn. Look how fast Tesla swapped sides from Left to Right.

There are also whiners here that claim someone is threatening them. Which is total horse crap. Funny part they often go from playing victim like a spoiled child to now threatening ppl.

anybody who drinks, smokes or uses drugs has an addiction problem, anybody who claims otherwise is lying to themselves... I learned to not allow it to interfere with work or family.... still working on the health thing though. 9 years until release from contract.

I didn’t start with the insults but as soon as I returned fire rhetorically, you starting talking about sending rounds hypothetically. It was an unpleasant escalation that is unbecoming even in the chit chat space. If you can’t take it, be more careful with who you try to dish it at. I don’t suffer fools gladly at all.

That’s the thing. What ever emerges after that battle would wipe out the USA on a whim. I support the USA and I like the current world order, but this ego and hubris is causing you guys to enter a decline.
Trump is a failed business man and wouldn’t be anywhere without his daddies money. Been a mediocre person his whole life. Only his charisma has saved him from his incompetence. Now he doesn’t have the guard rails of advisers that could walking him back from the edge and we see what is happening. Well at least us who aren’t awash with disinformation.
From the outside it seems like the Dems are just collaborators with the republican agenda. Their squabbles seem fake like professional wrestling and the donors get richer at the expense of the middle class and poor.
I don’t get to encounter real people that spout these simplistic talking points, so I had genuine shock to see it. But I remained respectful until I was disrespected.

It might not be PC or I might get canceled or whatever. But I strongly believe that the internet has given some people unearned confidence to try to figure things out on their own. Like a midget trying to dunk a basketball. They give you a little tykes hoop and you think you can dunk on the real thing. Trust experts and know your limitations.

If you are on Insulin or CPAP than you might as well not waste time using them if drinking. High Blood Pressure meds are a waste too.

Most of us that have been in Military can do functional drunk exercises.

Alcohol is not something can turn off for effect after consumption but with time develop tolerance - need more alcohol to get drunk.
Once drunk it has to wear off with time, so it effects the person and family until it is gone from system. Alcohol is simply a Legal Drug.
Most functional drunks are miserable as hell per my notice.

I gave up drinking a long time ago. Waste of Life, Waste of Money, and alcohol never solved a single problem, but alcohol did compound them with hang overs or until the next drink. Lot of my friends are dead now and some drank alcohol until it killed them - probably several years to soon. I guess that is a choice ppl are allowed to make for killing themselves. Making Alcohol is a very wealthy industry, and advertising has made it even more money as a Legal Drug addiction. Alcohol was once used for medical to clean stuff, but medical ppl started drinking it - abuse. Now some of the medical ppl steal other drugs and take them.

I am actually for ppl being able and allowed to kill themselves. Fentanyl should be legal with buckets of it sat out on the corner of every major city. Beats some person running up to my vehicle at a red light, washing my windows, and asking to be paid when they assaulted my vehicle. The biggest part have to wonder where they got water in that bucket and if it was piss used on my windshield.
A bucket of Fentanyl on every major street corner should clean up the streets in record time. We kill rats and mice the same way.

Sorry but that is my view and opinion. If ppl see themselves as worthless why waste my time trying to convince them otherwise. Life is to short. Drink up if that is your choice but leave excuses for it and bad behavior at the door.... you made an informed decision when opened the bottle. Same as all drug addicts. No pity

So not on a CPAP or insulin, though I am borderline diabetic. i hover back and forth giving my doctor something to worry about and my wife and daughters a ray of hope and something to rejoice for.... the fat ass's in your photo are US Navy, not Marines. the black poly pro gives it away. USMC uses green, and desert for those. guaranteed all three of them will be listed as 100% disabled with minimal effort at the VA just sucking up the resources from those that deserve it.

I am not on disability, 58 years old and the only thing the USMC gave me besides a really wild 8 years was a very poor attitude to the rest of the world... Not saying some things might not be related to it, but nothing i can honestly in my heart of hearts say it came from there, hence no VA for me. not to mention the japanese health care system is better than the VA hands down.
