All this discussion and Will puts out a video today that is similar to what I am doing. Will be interesting to see how this progresses in the heat.

Wire size is a big part of it. Also I believe that MPPT controllers perform better near the upper end of their max input voltage range.

When I was young I thought I was pretty sharp and I think I was. As I have gotten older I realize that there is so much you can learn. Thanks again for all your help. If I can just figure out my roof rack I can then get those panels mounted. I don't like any of the store bought racks so making my own.
