Need Help with series wiring

I have been given a huge battery bank made of 2 volt gnb cells which have 1500 amp hours but I'm not truly sure proper way to connect them to get 24 volts. I most want to be careful so I don't fry myself but I really need help. Each cell has 3 terminals and I have them bolted together ready to get them done Please can I get assistance

Each cell has 3 terminals

3 of each terminal?
are they like just to split the amp load between them and all are connected?

In how you have the batteries you can't have the same length cable going to each of the cell terminals you should maybe consider just putting them in 1 straight line with pos/neg/pos/neg

I have them lined up to go top to bottom it also came with buss bars to put together it was already running as 24v but was apart when I got there. These are used as back-up ups battery's in cell towers.
