need some advice and or knowledge 24 volt system from ground up ( new build)

Hi this is rwt61 To start with what panels do I need? I think I want about 200 watt - 300 watt panels about 6 panels. I want a system about 2000 watts worth of panels and about 4 battla born batteries but on the batteries am I better off with 4- 12 volt 100amp or should I go with 2-4 24volt 50 amp batteries. I told you guys I was Green help me out Please
