I have built into 3 stacking toolboxes (in case portability is needed) 4 Goldenmate 12v 100AH cabled in a 2S2P configuration married with a GIANDEL 24 Volt 2000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter, a Renogy Rover 40 Amp 12V/24V DC Input MPPT Solar Charge Controller. I have 3 Newpowa 250w solar panels in series which have an ISC of 17.3A and a VOC of 23.83.
I only bought 3 because thats all that were in stock at the time. I'd like to add another panel but apparently the Newpowa 250V 10BB are no longer available. (Not sure if thats permanent or temporary)...
My Renogy 40 Amp MPPT allows max 1040W @24V and max 100V, (although FAQ states 95V) so a 4th Newpowa would be 95.32V - acceptable IMO.
What am I looking for to determine if I can add a different brand 250V panel to my system, other than maybe the obvious of less than or equal to a VOC of 23.83V? I have 750W leaving a gap to max of 290W but I don't know about mixing voltages in the same series string. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have watched Will's video on "How to Connect Different Solar Panels Together" and if i'm understanding his rule for Series strings I can add a panel that has a higher Amperage than the other 3 because the added panel will default to using that amperage. Also then as long as the added panel voltage is 23V or less so that the total string voltage added up is less than the Renogy max of 100(95)V I should be ok?

If the added panel operates at a lower amperage than rated am i correct in assuming that the total rated wattage would also be lower?
The Renogy max for watts for a 24V system is 1040W.

Is my analysis on the right track or am I once again totally missing the point? (sorry for the 70's SNL reference)

Bueller... Bueller... Bueller...

Well, This week I managed to find another Newpowa 250 panel, and in talking to Renogy their 100V 40a MPPT is a hard stop at 95V, so I upgraded to a Victron 150V 35a MPPT Controller. Resolved the problem myself, but would have preferred some discussion...
