Hey Guys,
I have a home that had a solar system already installed and need some advise on it. First thing I will tell you is what I have done to it to get it up and running. I had to replace all 8 batteries, clean the solar tower with the solar panels on it, and replace the inverter with a AIMS power inverter Model PICOGLF20W12V120V. Now my problems....I noticed the fan on the inverter has stopped working and last night when the power went out the system never kicked on not giving me only lights anymore like it use to, which that is all the system can power. There wasn't any lightening around my area. I checked to see if there was power coming from the inverter by plugging a fan in the GFI outlet under the inverter and it powered the fan. I really don't understand this solpan 110 dc powerfuse center. I have researched it and there is nothing available about it. Do you think that could be why I am not getting power to the house? Maybe I should delete that out somehow? I am trying to learn about it, just looking for suggestions where to look. I tried reaching out to AIMS, but they never return my calls. The inverter is reading its on fast charge with AC Mode, my hand held controller for the AIMS reads input voltage. 123v, output voltage 122v, battery voltage 13.7, output freq:61OHz, output load :000%, work mode: charge. while the Solpan is saying batteries charged.

I tried that this morning and it says it’s on, but I don’t know if it’s working until there is a power outage. I don’t know how to test it.

shut off grid power to the inverter. Looks like there is a breaker box tied to the grid input of the inverter? Or just shut off the main panel ?

Ok I shut the main off from the house and the inverter did kick on finally. Yay I guess it’s got a mind of it’s own.
