Hi everyone,
My new system is just finished,
Here is my setup :
- 375w REC solar panel x 9 ( Total 3325 w )
- Midnite Classic 150 Charge controller
- Meritsun 48v/200AH Lifepo4 battery Powerwall ( Total 10Kwh )
- 48v/7000w/120v ac Reliable Inverter
Been pushing it for 4500w-5000w for an hour with no issue so far,
And I want to limit charging the battery to maybe 90% to 95% SOC ( try to prolong its life )
Since I'm too new to all this ( first time build- thanks to all forum members-and other infos online )
Is it doable ? how to do it ? via BMS or charge controller or any add-on item needed ?
Thank you everyone,
This's the Battery Spec :

Details , step by step instruction is much appreciated
Thanks all again,

usually you monitor battery voltage.
bottom limit is about 50V
top limit would be 53.6

You'll need to go into your charge controllers settings and set your bulk to 53.6 (3.35V/cell) absorption to the same and your float to 52.8v.

I run a Classic 200 with 24V LFP here are my settings in a generic format so other people can adjust their setup if they wish.

Bulk Voltage: 28.4V - 29.2V
* Absorption Voltage : 28.4V - 29.2V Absorption Time 0-15 minutes
* Float Voltage : 26.6V - 27.6V
* Equalize : OFF or as short time possible @ float voltage
* not necessary for LFP
- VOLTAGE CUTOFFS : Low Voltage: 22V / High Voltage: 29.2V
- No Temp Compensation, BTS not required.

Suggested charge rate minimum 0.2C. 200AH x 0.2 = 40A

I have a better idea now, thanks for all your inputs . Will play around with the Voltage setting, let see how it turns out
Thanks all again, and have a great day,
