dont need bluetooth, ect.next setup will we victron sall the way.
Using a fuse for each battery string is correct. When 2 batteries are in series, its basically 1 battery, if the fuse opens the circuit is open all is safe.i would like a opinion on this though..
i grouped batteries in 2(parallel)
then from each group to buss bar.
so 8 bats,4 groups.
when i added the mrbf fuses i thought why fuse each battery(i bought 8).
i ended up with using only 4(one for each battery group)
fusing each battery didnt make sense to me.
if one battery fails i'de sooner loose the group rather than a single battery.
to me(my thinking) a single battery will hit 100% soc first and goto float and the other group batteries might not be there yet.
?
When generator dies, I wouldn't hesitate to get a LF inverter for the well pump. The load is momentary, and you will recover batteries in short time.well for as little as i need run gen.think i stay with it for water
dont even remember last time i changed its oil.
crap champion 4500,a briggs and stratton walk over this.
but was cheap on sale.
sure well overdue
Be careful what you get. Going too big will have high idle consumption.you sir are a god.
i had no idea about low frequency inverters
They are all rebranded Sigineer. Right now the best deal is direct from Sigineer, free shipping and the remote display is included as well.thank you.
i was actually looking at a aims on amazon.ca
it looks same as the sungold?
i think same manufacturer relabeled?
i was looking at the 12v/3000w.
Yeah, I use a 24V/4000W Aims LF. My well is 50ft submersible 1/2hp / 120V set at 50psi. The lights in the cabin flicker when it starts but no real issues. The TV doesn't skip a beat.u got me so close to buying one of these.
12v/3000w i think shud do it.
gen that runs pump is a 3450/4550 surge.
i had a older generator that ran pump also fine(was a 2800)
so i think 3000w with its big surge ability shud do it.
only thing stopping me is i only at camp till end of the month.i winterize and close it up till spring.
i will definitely be getting one over the winter for next year(keep eye on price and maybe get a deal).
built in transfer switch and charger is a bonus.
should be no need to lug gas anymore.i do always have 5-10 gallons on hand for lawn mower and if gen needed.
again thank you.
i have had solar here for 20 yrs and never realized about a low frequency inverter.
they are awsome and what i need from reading about them.
240v i assume?its a craftmans(sears) from like 2000.
i have the manual but i says anywhere from 1/3 hp to 3/4 hp(different models)
i honestly dont know what mine is.its been down 275 ft since 2000 ish.
i set mine at 70 psi
i have 100 gal storage
only need pump water once every week or 2.
10-15 min fills tanks
Things must be much higher in Canada! $654 here in the US.i bit the bullet and ordered a aims 2500w/7500w surge today.
was reasinoable i think.
1100 and change cdn shipped from amazon.
