Found your forum...and am excited to read about everyone’s experiences and solar projects.
I designed and installed a 1,440 watt solar system on our 40ft Class A...and really enjoy having the off grid resource. I recently put a 12 x 24 ft shed in our back yard...and I think I would love to install solar. First, I thought about just having LED shop lights. Then...I thought having a nice 20A outlet for power tools or recharging Li packs for tools. Now, I am wondering if I could possibly get away running a mini-split to keep the storage unit a bit cooler,... Unfortunately, being a hip roof, I could probably only have enough south facing roof to mount 3 x 360w residential panels up there...and have no idea what the duty cycle would be running a mini split.
Oh well...that’s what’s going on here...can’t wait to learn what everyone is up to.
