New price increases

Was looking at existing product availability (chargeverter has been out of stock for months on all sites)

Noticed both Signature Solar and Current Connected whom this forums knows all about have increase prices on products to include: EG4 LL-S 48V 100Ah battery and the EG4 Chargeverter.

The battery price was ~$1300 and the chargeverter was ~$470. Both sites now list the battery at $1499 and the chargeverter at $719.95. These tariffs huh?

I suspect the direct Chinese Distributors like Eco-Worthy and Pytes are going to have a much smaller increase.

The chargeverter is just 2 rectifiers, similar to the ones in that thread. Rectifiers are tried and true. They've been used in the telecom industry for ages.

Yet it appears nobody has actually had to pay any tariffs thus far.
Evidently there's a technical issue and no incoming containers are being charged yet.
I read this in several news reports? If true why have prices mysteriously gone up already?
