New Renology flexible solar panels. Are these defects?

The junction boxes seem to not be fully sealed. Is this a problem?

I can still exchange them, but I bought 6 and all buy one have this issue.

If I'm looking at the picture right, it looks like the box was placed on the panel before the backing material.

No, it looks to me that they didnt add enough sealant. It “squished” through in some places, but not others.

Yep I would go out and buy some good sealant and finish the job the factory didn't accomplish. Way to much time and trouble for a return.

it is fine, they obviously don't require 100 squeeze out or it wouldn't have passed QC. the electrical leads pass thru the middle of the junction box, there is plenty of bond area from the edge to the pass thur.
