Hi everyone:
I am in the process of planning a build out for my RV.
I am looking out to build out a 280Ah battery pack. The question I have is that there is room around the battery box to add some additional cells in the future.
I think I want to build 280Ah with the potential to add an additional 280Ah in the future.
So here are my questions:
From what I can tell, I should wire each of two cells in parallel and use a single BMS lead per two pack. Does this work if I want to rebuild the 4 cell pack to have 8 cells in the future?
I would need to split the system between two battery boxes. Is that an issue with just having a wire between the two 6 volt packs?
