Hi, I have a question, bit of a newbie when it comes to caravan electrics. I am fully off grid, with no access to electricity. I have 3 agm batteries in parallel which give 290ah. I have been given a 280ah lifep04 which I want to add. I was planning on 2 separate battery banks with 2 separate solar and charge controllers. What would be the best way to combine them and stay at 12v. I have victron charge controllers, smart shunt on the AGM system. Was going to buy a smart shunt for the lifep04. I have 400w on each, but will upgrade to 600w.
I have an 1100w inverter which I have attached to the AGM bank.
I also have an ecoflow river 2 with its own 200w panel, which I would like to tie into the system if possible.

Thanks for your time

Welcome,

Helpful hint - to not blow yourself up - don't play with dynamite.

Some people keep agm and lfp systems separate, others just connects them to the same bus bars and use them in parallel... Just make sure to fuse the lfp battery with a mrbf on the battery post...

Think I have found a way, don't want to get rid of AGM as they are only 6 months old, I was thinking of setting them both up as separate systems, then join the two to a busbar which will make a 24v system. Then get a victron 24v to 12v to connect to the caravan electrics
