Onyx Solar launches walkable PV tiles

The Spanish building integrated PV manufacturer has launched glass-glass modules suitable for rooftops and other urban spaces. The new products have a nominal capacity of 75 W.

This seems like such a horrible idea with everything that would be shading the tiles cutting into production. If I did this, I’d want each tile to have a microinverter or run every tile in parallel
