Ordered cells from EEL but they shipped from Sriko?

This is neutral until I receive the cells but already seems fishy. Curious if anyone else has run into this. positive now that I've received the cells. See post #3.

I ordered a set of 4 EVE MB31 314AH cells on 1/22/25 from EEL Battery (off their website) because they claimed to have stock in US Warehouse with delivery in 5-7 business days. All the other suppliers I've seen mentioned here seemed to be out of stock or 2-3+ month wait times for shipping from China only. I immediately received a PayPal receipt. No issue so far.

I expected some sort of order confirmation followed by a shipping notification but never got an order confirmation. Instead, I got a FedEx shipping notification from Sriko Battery Solutions on 1/23/25 saying the cells would be delivered today (1/24/25). However, the tracking number shows delivery on 1/28/25 with it being shipped from California instead of the Illinois address for Sriko.

I can't find any connection between the 2 companies. Seems to be very little mention of Sriko on the forums here. I found the same cells on their website for $299, which annoyed me at first, until I saw they would tack on $95 for shipping, so I still paid less ordering from EEL.

I guess I don't care as long as the cells arrive and are legit. It just seems weird to me to order from one company and have a completely different company ship it. Or is this normal for this type of stuff and I'm just overthinking it?

I've ordered from Sriko on several occasions. Most of my orders were BMS and parts for battery packs. They've always gotten my orders to me right away and sent emails asking if I was completely satisfied. No telling, but I'd say the companies are linked in some way. I know a while back Jehu and Battery Hookup had a deal going and everything shipped from Ca. Maybe combining for bigger orders , better pricing

Cells arrived 1/21/25 while I was out of town. Very well packaged. I didn't realize the epoxy insulation sheets were going to be included and had ordered some separately off Amazon. They appear to be brand new and legitimate. However, I've not been able to get my phone to scan the QR codes. Maybe it's not supposed to? Pretty sure I saw a thread on how to decipher the QR code, need to go read it. ;)

better head over to the diy forum and read up on these knock off terminals...
I saw... the terminals lack the red and blue dots everyone claims identifies them as legit, but they seem fine. All are firmly attached and seem solid.

Got the QR codes verified after doing manual entry. App kept crashing trying to use camera to scan them.

These cells worked out well enough that I decided to order 16 more for a 48V battery build. 12 out of 16 arrived today, 1 box of 4 must have ended up on a different FedEx truck taking the scenic route... These were shipped from a completely different source than the 1st batch I ordered. They shipped from "HYE". They aren't packaged as well as the 1st batch, have a completely different type of busbar, and didn't include the yellow epoxy insulation plates. They also don't have the label on the side. They do however have the red and blue markings on the terminals that the 1st batch didn't have. QR codes all check out so far.

have ordered from same eelbattery website for us stock. Received the same as yours. Since product description states there are flex busbar included, emailed howard@eelbattery.com about missing flex busbar and he is able to send me 14 flex busbar and one cross busbar by 02/24 and arrived my place 03/03. Quite satisfied with their after sale service.
