I have what I believe to be the original EcoFlow River. I more recently purchased a Delta 2 and figured out I could charge it using a 56v Ego battery using an MC4 adapter I made using ring terminals to hook into the ego battery. This worked so well for the Delta 2, I tried it on my older River, which has a max solar input of 100 watts. I assumed it would regulate the input to handle it, but it seems as though my assumption was wrong…It still functions for output, but when any charger is hooked up, the battery status indicator just blinks. I’ve taken it mostly apart and can’t see or smell anything obvious to indicate the problem. Does anyone here know what might’ve gone wrong and if it’s repairable or not?
