I was out enjoying the pool when all the mosquito came in and started to bother me. We usually use fans and burning mosquito coils behind the fan to keep the little vampires away. so I tried something quick and was amazed how well it worked. Now I would like to take it to the next level. I added my little DIY Bluetooth stereo and found the fan made the sound super directional.

I am thinking of making this into a pedestal fan, with mister, place to burn mosquito coils behind fan, and battery operated. We can use it by the pool, porch, or when I am grilling. Nice to be able to move it around. I have 4 Eco-Worthy 12V that I opened up to make a 48V pack. They would be perfect for this fun project.

Any design suggestions?

Maybe build the next version on a hand truck. It will fit through doors, if in a more vertical setup.
Otherwise, cool project.

Just something I through together quick last night. Now I want to put a cooler on it. Pump melted water from the bottom into mister in front of fan. Mosquito coils behind the fan. Speakers mounted on side. Big wheels where I can wheel it out to the backyard garden.

I built a portable air conditioner out of a cooler, 20 years ago.
A couple of fans mounted in the lid, blowing in to the cooler. And a 2" PVC 90° elbow mounted in the other end of the lid. The elbow could spin to point the cool air in any direction. I would throw that and a mattress in the bed of my truck, when going to the drive in. It made the experience very enjoyable.

I was thinking the wife would love this while working in the garden. Batteries, inverter, cooler, fan, sprayer, stereo, and LED Flood lights. What else ?

With the fan it needs to have some stability and a low center of gravity and a wide wheel base. I was thinking of building it around a cooler or the wagon on sale at HF right now. Just the big tires would cost me 80% of the cart. The low level cart worked pretty good but can't go in the back yard.

After all this rain the vampires are out on a mission. Before the days get to short I want to enjoy the beautiful 90F+ 100% humidity weather right now
