That said, maybe someone can create (solo or though group efforts) a mother of all solar system excel spreadsheet, that can assist persons limit some mistakes along the way. You know what need be in there so I won't dabble.
Secondly or possibly even a bit financially prudent would be a solar syatem ap. Something real and detiled as whats avaiable seems to be junk.
All this said, if there is one or the other that is floating out there, rather than being negative about it, just shoot this old guy a link and post a link or discussion page with it.

1. 40 Calb 180A batteries, 8S5P, 24v
2. 5 Daly 200a BMS.s..... Man the main negative in out mounting screws are a joke, beefed mines up
3. 6 285w 36v panels
4. Chinesse Hybrid Controller/Inverter
5. Old school 8KW Onan Genset, to top things off while I do laundry
6. All sorts of fuses, insolation/combining switches, and temp, smoke, voltage cell alarm to keep me abreast of conditions when not aboard
