Overkill BMS screen & settings

Hi. I'm trying to understand the screen. As you can see, I have an indicator where one battery is in the red & other is grey.
1a. What does the grey mean?
1b. I figure the red is overcharge. How do I 'fix' this?
2. Is the line my current draw or dump as I do see it at times -ve?
3. On the second screen with the cells; what is the purpose of this screen?
4. I guess I don't understand the chart screen too
Thanks
Larry

Did you parallel top balance your cells? Have you double checked your connections? Your .075mv delta is too high in that part of the curve. I am floating my cells and my highest cell is 3.386 and my lowest is 3.380 volts. That's a .006mv delta.

Anytime a cell drifts outside 20mv differential... the low cell will be grey, and the high cell will be red. If ONE cell is high, it will be red and the others will be yellow... if there is a low cell, several in range cells, and a high cell, like your display, most will be yellow, one grey one red.
If one is low, and the rest are close together, there will be mostly yellow, and one grey.

Thanks for the reply: yes I parallel balanced the cells & all connections are good. No charging for the past 2 hours (no sun) & my delta is 0.004 hence
1. How to keep this low?
2. Is the part that states "protection none" the key?

Thanks for your reply however, I'm still confused. The blue line indicating -2.3A denotes charging? Is the -ve an imbalance?

In your first picture the battery is charging at 1.5a (amps) blue part of dial, in your last picture the battery is discharging at 2.3a (amps) green part of the dial

Great. So +ve amp is battery charge & -ve amp is draw.
Next question: I saved the parameter settings for LIFEPO4 NORMAL but it still indicates "Protection None". What's happening here?

That might indicate if there have been any protection events. Like high/low voltage or high/low temp. Mine is operating normally and shows None also.

Thanks for this
Smashing some bulk amps into the first of 3 x 24v batts so I can then dissasemble for top balance.

Grey was spinning me out.Screenshot_2021-11-17-07-32-35-037.jpeg

Yep, my very next question
It's like you're in my head. (-;

Welcome to the forum!

If you have the external temperature probe installed, I believe that the displayed temperature is the more extreme of the internal and external temperatures.

Time left would be the amount of time until zero percent state of charge.

Total voltage is self evident.

The discharge slider should be set to the right, like the Charging slider. You should not get any current out of the BMS with the Discharge turned off. You look at the log to see if there is an error in there that might explain why the Discharge is turned off.

The User Manual listed in the page linked below is a great resource for that BMS.
