my application went thru first review and the panel listed on the application is out of stock at SS and I can't find it anywhere.

If anyone have good source to buy panels, please pass the info along here or via PM. I have to be ready to do an addendum for the app.

thank you

We bought 6 pallets of Hyperion 545's from Sptizer Energy. Had email couple days ago, they have 1 container left of Hyperion 405s. $0.25/W free shipping. Talk to Philipp Armenta, sales @ 713-409-7010. They were selling others too...

Yes website is correct. Number (personal cell) is a sales guy I deal with in Texas. They are a panel broker and buy all kinds. Their inverters are rebranded Megarevo. Call him see what he has got. They have a warehouse in Ontario, CA. Hyperion's we got came from New Jersey.

Another broker I've bought from in the past is Surplus Solar Products. Covid time got a couple pallets of QCELL 395s.

If you buy a pallet (min 36 pcs), you can get cheaper, newer and more efficientcy solar panel directly from aliababa. People in US with free shipping double the price and sell you the old with less efficientcy.
No example links provided leads to skepticism.

Also, I looked at some for sale, they claimed 550 watts in a 1722 x 1134 mm frame size, which is a 400 watt panel size, so they lie, those panels can't be 550 watts or the size they list is wrong, take your pick.

Sure buyer beware, due diligence, ask for photos, ask for references, ask for their return/replacement policy if damaged in shipment, etc. Spec sheet for the Hyperion 545/Tier 1, 545's, we bought and photo of some of the pallets. Like I said they broker panels, you ask specifically for what they've got. Same for other outfit. Make sure you have a forklift....

It is based on my experience. Please see the attached for a pallet I bought from Alibaba, which cost me $3,500, including shipping and all taxes. The model is JKM440N-54HL4R-B—an all-black, beautiful panel. This model was released in mid-2024.

I received it without any damage.

My VAT tax is 8.25%, and these 36 panels cost around $3,500 (including VAT and import tax), so each panel comes out to $97.

It doesn’t make sense to pay a middleman in the U.S. to store panels for years in a warehouse and double the price! But it depends on buyers— I’m not selling panels.

Lots of cheap (very cheap at volume) 300w 72cell panels in the bay area. I've been buying around $20/ea at 80x panels. Solar farm discards from upgrades.

I bought my pallet from here:

Great prices and fast shipping from their NJ warehouse (regional based I’m believe).
thank you harjms but they are all out of stock, pallets or container size... not that anyone end user ever need a full container of panels

Interesting. I see pallets available but maybe depends on the warehouse?IMG_2441.png

We get all of our panels from either ALIBABA (but you better pay by Credit Card) and be prepared for delays ----

OTHERWISE -- if we are in a hurry in the States - then we go to https://a1solarstore.com/ ... those guys are great .... not sure if there is anything near you in California though ...

ALSO - if the contract allows it -- our GO _TO is these auctions and bankruptcy sales where you can buy literally 1-2 year old panels - mostly hardly used - for pennies on the dollar ... I think CAL has several of those sites ...

I have had great luck with suntan solar in Gilbert AZ. They run specials all the time like flat rate shipping etc.

BUT YET - there are -- "some end-users that need a full container of panels - 1738547498125.png"

Here we have (7) 20' cargo containers of 395W Solar Panels from Alibaba (CHINA) sitting somewhere in South West Texas at one of the transient depots waiting for our guys to go in and break them down to smaller loads for transport .......

Don't quote me - but I think there are about 2000 panels per container ....

This will last us about 2 months out here ... each remote site will take about 45+/- panels for each SOLARK-15 we install ...

I was totally wrong --- https://a1solarstore.com/ has a ton of locations in CA ... I would call them ....

Greentechrenewables.com. Find your local office and give them a call. They will meet or beat prices as long as you can prove what the other retailer is selling them for.

SANTAN solar, named after the nearby San Tan mountains.

The more common typo is when folks have typed SATAN solar 👹
