Parallel batteries dual positive negative connection to busbar

Is there a reason not to wire parallel batteries as shown in the picture?

Just run all three to the bus and don't bother with the bat to bat jumpers. If you had 2 batteries, you could go with 2 bats diagonal connected to the bus. With 4 bats, ideal would be 2 diagonal pairs to the bus. There is no "perfect" connection for odd number of batteries other than every one directly to the bus.
