I am adding a solar array to a off grid home addition. I have a Midnight solar diy 24 volt inverter charger with built in charge controller. I have six 100 watt panels. My question is:
Do I run a single six panel parallel string to the charge controller? Do I run two parallel strings of three panels, or three parallel strings? Will be using a combiner box.
Which is most efficient?

Maximum PV input voltage for your charge controller is 100 VDC.

Would need to know specifications of your six 100 watt panels. Their Open circuit voltage (Voc) = ???

Put in the panel specs and play with the configuration Series/Parallel to work out what is optimal.

Thanks folks. I have figured out a lot of stuff in my life, this solar has me going nuts!

I'm using 20 240 w panels. 4s5p. Can I add 1 panel to 2 of the strings to have 2s5p and 2s6p. Have strings going to a Combiner box. I have 2 extra panels and want to use them. Ty for any input
