I'm looking at getting a pair of Pecron E3600's to supply 240v. I would mainly charge the units with solar but in the event that I don't have enough battery capacity overnight, I'd like to be able to charge the batteries via other means. My understanding is that as long as the units are plugged in they will keep pulling power even after the batteries are charged. I'm wondering of there is a way to stop that or if there is another way to automatically charge the batteries only when they reach a certain point and then stop charging when they are back to 100%.
