Places to visit in Nevada - Arizona - New Mexico this Winter?

I'm about to make another southerly loop in the beast from visiting the PNW. Does anyone have recommendations for cities or places, events etc to check out between now and Springtime in these southern desert area?

Ghost town, ranches, other places of interest? I'm starting a bucket list.

Have you already been to all the usual suspects? Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Capitol Reef and Arches? Most people zip right through Grand Staircase Escalante but don't. Lots of great exploring to be done there.

Thanks for that. I'm headed to Quartzsite firstly and not in a breakneck hurry about it. If my path takes me near to or through those places I think I would like to spend more time there and star gaze. I'm looking for ANYWHERE that's not a damned wagon train of vacationers and foreign tourists.

Quartzsite is going to be a cluster till I leave in Feb and looking to stay away from people as much as possible.
