Did you check these two devices? They are marked like zener diodes, but the lables are as fuses. A zener diode would provide reverse polarity protection....

Google how to check them with a multimeter.... I think they should be a short one way and open the other way if they are zener diodes... but if they are fuses they will be a short both ways. If they popped it would mean the + pin is not connected to the rest of the board.

Have you checked fuses F1 and F2 and diode D40? These are probably part of the reverse-polarity protection but would be a good starting point.

They are fuses according to google and they have continuity.

That is odd - it should read .2~.3 one direction and open the other I think
