Am looking at a solar system to run my pool pump 18 hours daily.
My pump: Hayward Max-Flo pump 1.5HP 1.10KW 230V 60Hz Amps max load 18.6/9.3 PH 1 FR 56J SF 1:0
Can the MPP Solar 2.4Kw 24V PIP Model handle the system? What specs solar panels should I GET ?

Appreciate your advice ! Thank you.

I’m also looking to use solar to re my Swimming Pool pump.
I’m needing to know which battery style is best for Daily use and what size. Inverter.
I have a 230 volt 9.7 amp 1.55 kw 60hz motor.
How help would be greatly appreciated.

The other thing that is important in picking an inverter is the startup amps of the motor. The inverter needs to be able to handle that surge but only for a few seconds.

Wondering if running a variable speed dc pool pump directly from solar panels isn't the best idea. Off grid and dyi capable with a quick return on investment. Considering this project, wondering if any others have done this?
