Got my 280Ah Hithium cells in today. I ordered them Sunday, through Alibaba, but they were shipped from the Houston warehouse.
Battery box is this: Apexium v3 DIY battery box kit
Total cost for DIY battery kit and cells were $1770 for about 16kWh
Things have been coming together on the shop system build with 114 Kwh of LFP batteries, 2 SRNE 10Kw ASP inverters. Using a larger Hoffman electrical cabinet similar to the one in my house system. Array was put up this summer consisting of 24 370W NE Solar panels on a tornado damaged MT Solar mount. Originally planned for 74 Kwh but as things progressed the battery bank was upped to 114 Kwh. Originally started early summer but had the array to put up and finally get around to finishing battery bank and inverter installation.
I finally got my laundry room (mostly) wired up today. It's been over a year since I was out here putting lipstick on this pig. Tomorrow the diesel heater and dryer duct, hopefully the sink drain.
The little box on the left and the MPPT controller are my 24v->12v conversion for the battery heaters, fans, and diesel heater. Re-skinned a super cheap battery with a better BMS into a Hobo Freight ammo can to take the startup hit from the heater glow plug. The battery is my previous tank build.
mobile workshop, all this just to power a compressor, occasional spot welder, heatlamp and a laptop, but trying to get my company off generators to comply with noise level regulations.
managed to get it set up so that it can charge with a EV charger, as can be seen in the bottom left of the pic, quite happy about that.
edit: An updated picture with the fuse box/consumer unit fitted, and the Chinese battery switches replaced with Blue Sea System switches.
3 x Conversol 5Kw inverters
3 x 16 - 280Ah Eve LifePO4 batteries
27 x 250w REC solar panels - ( 9 panels to be fitted )
