Would anyone know or think it ok to use a lynx power in as a combiner for solar strings? It’s just thick copper bar and had no circuit board so the 60v as stated on other lynx distributors shouldn’t count on the power in. I can’t find a descent combiner box in the uk.

I don’t know what a lynx is, but I would pay attention to it if it said 60 volts and not exceed that.
I don’t know what you’re combining, but this is my favorite:

Although rated for 600 v 60 amp, I used these for gang blocks to make a low voltage combiner:
Now that I review it, I don’t see a AC or DC rating for voltage. I do have the Poitive and negative separated by quite a bit. I put it inside an electric project box and also put circuit breakers in it.
