Hello to all. I just joined this forum and my question is; I have two Powerjack pure sine wave 240v 24v LF inverters, One is 4000w (2019) and my newer one (2021) is 5000w version. They both work fine but the 4kw will start and run my 1.5hp water pump whereas the 5kw will not. There is no voltage sag on either when connected to the pump and in fact the 5kw has been loaded with various other loads totalling 2.6kw (more resistive than inductive) without problems. Maybe it is a surge current problem, although I cant understand why the 4kw starts the pump without hesitation. Any thoughts?
