PowerMax PM3-55LK 12 Volt, 55 Amp Converter/Charger - Gobi Review

Are you still using the PM3? How do you stop at 90%?
I have used the PM3 approx 2 times, it is sitting in a box in my shop, I may use it if we have a tsunami hit michigan and my Meanwell 2 stage chargers float away
I like predictive behavior,
you CAN charge to 90% with a PM3, just set the voltage to your picking.
I went through a learning phase and acquisition phase.

Last few months, I have been focusing on ebikes and fishing, not much time spent monkeying with batts other than charging my 100ah littos (luv my littos) at 10A using a bench PS.

I guess I am still looking for the elusive 25 to 35 amp charger that can be set to turn off at a set voltage and turn on at a lower set voltage.

Have a look at this.

What voltage corresponds to 90% SOC for your setup?
That is the real question.

It really depends, the cells have considerable "bounce". Using Eve specified normal charge (3.65v until amps drop under 14 amps) the cells will settle to just about 3.4v after an hour with no load. Charging to 3.4v and letting amps drop under 1, you get about 2 amp hours less capacity. Certainly not 90%, but you would expect it to be close, it isn't.
