If I want to parallel a single eco-worthy server rack battery to an EG4 PowerPro and I have the EG4 paralleling cable like this:

Any thoughts on using this adapter:

To connect directly to battery terminals on the server rack battery so I won't have to cut the eg4 cables?

Any issues? Assuming that it will fit.

The Degson connector is threaded metric 8-1.25 so you may have to drill it out depending on the size of the E-W terminals.
On the other tentacle, if the mounting hole pattern is the same size, maybe you can just swap out the connectors.

Hmmm, swapping out the terminals will be super neat. Thanks. Copy on the warranty issue though.

It's not impossible that you could swap them back if you had a warranty issue. If they line up right(*) it should be plug and play.

(*) No, I have no idea if the mount size is some common standard, but https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6746406 is the right size anyway if you want to pull the dimensions off it or figure out how to make a splice.

It didn't fit by default and technically can make mods to battery case and make it work but not worth the effort.

Question:
Anything special i need to so before paralleling with eg4 powerpro? Like dip switch position on eco-worthy or settings on powerpro or is it just simple connect parallel and it works. Thanks.

You won’t be able to do closed loop with both at the same time so either do closed loop with one and let the other go along for the ride or ick open loop voltages that make sense to both.

Got it. Makes sense. Thanks. Anything else need to watch out for? Read something about need to make sure voltages are close before connecting them together.

Oh and you were right degson connector is threaded and takes same size as eco worthy bolt so will need to drill it out and it does line up ok to terminal.

left/black type approach of course is to just test it out. Right is probably what i will do after drilling thread out or just use regular lug i guess.
