Hi all,
I've recently built some batteries with JK Inverter BMS's and to my delight my SMA SI6.0H-13 actually accepts the CAN output of the BMS (setting Pylontech, as I read on this forum). Further more I'm able to control charging and discharging (active power setpoint at grid connection point) using Modbus (about which I read on this forum), which was my goal and is great.
The SI monitors the energy flow at the grid connection point using an SMA Energy Meter on 'Speedwire' (ethernet). The SI has a setting:
"AC Side / Public electricity mains / Maximum current of the ext. network interface"
which is set to 26.5A for some reason (which corresponds to about 6kVA of apparent power).
When I try to change this value to 35A, the interface says: 10122 "Setting of parameter "Maximum current from utility grid" failed. Installation assistant must be started"
Now, when I start the installation assistant, it resets all the settings (also the grid country standard). So I begged SMA to give my a GGC and eventually I got it.
I expected this setting to appear to appear in the "Installation assistant", but instead I get this:
So it seems to be able to limit active power (W) and reactive power (VAr), but I want to limit apparent power (VA). Furthermore, if I set a limit for active power, the 'reactive power screen' (second screenshot) won't let me click 'next'. Also, whatever I put in here, the value of 'Maximum current of the ext. network interface' stays at 26.5A.
Does anyone know what I need to do to put in the correct value for 'Maximum current of the ext. network interface'? Is it perhaps a problem with the browser (I tried firefox and chrome, chrome wouldn't even display the time settings (second screen of installation assistant)). Is there a recommended browser to talk to firmware 3.30.37.R
Thanks for reading this far!
Greetings,
Rik.
