Professional Installation of Only Roof Panels

We live in a 3 story townhouse. I only need backup for occasional outages, currently done with a generator and DIY battery/inverter/charger. I could temporarily charge via panel for a couple of hours on our balcony, or move battery to my SUV and put a panel on the roof to charge for most of the day.

We don't want to invest in a full commercial solar installation but might be interested in only having panels installed with rest done DIY. Is there such a thing?

In LA I found a couple of guys that installed or moved panels when I was getting reroofed. I have since moved but if I had to find somebody now I would ask some installers if any of their workers wanted to do any side jobs. Where are you located? Does your townhouse have an HOA?

Houston, we do not have an HOA. It's a set of 4 townhouses connected on the sides.
