Progressive Dynamics PD91XXL series charger accessory

Was cruising the PD website today and found the following accessory for the PD91XXL series converter charger that will turn off the unit using a switch or relay.

Might be useful for charge then terminate function that is preferred for LFP. The accessory only works with the 9100 series lithium chargers.

Maybe that is an indication they are somewhat aware that their current lithium charge profile needs work.

It does provide a way to switch it off with a low current dry contact.... Thanks for posting.

Looking to get others input on this. In an effort to extend the life of my lithium batteries, I would like to charge to 90 or 95%. As per Will’s recommendation on one of his videos, operations outside the extremes should extend battery cycles.

Is this the right product???

Has anyone used this or another option to prevent a full charge?

I just use the breaker to turn off my PD 9160 ALV. I have found it to be fairly stupid so I may just use it as a bulk charger and let my solar setup do the fine charging.
