Propane safety

If you aren't supposed to have propane bottles around an open flame or ignition source how are you supposed to use a grill? Camp stove? Propane heater? Blowtorch? ?

Good to know, the forklift and grill tanks are in use not being stored so smoking a cig while driving around should be ok

I had someone tell me it was unsafe to smoke a cig while grilling, so I had to tell them about smoking on the forklift. Guess how well that went over. ?

The smoking is more a threat to life than the propane, methinks....
