I just watched a video of mc4 connectors resistance there not great (4 brands tested). I'm wondering if we used 8mm soldered gold plated bullet connectors or qs8 anti spark connectors very low resistance they work down to 6awg we use them in excess of 600a in rc (radio controled) cars there's been a couple times the solder has melted when we excess 800+ amps if brushless motor locked up or ripple current.
If my panels in series are 365v @20a they should be fine right ?
Any draw backs other than time to solder them ?
Soldered bullets could be wrapped in 3:1 marine heat shrink underground .
