The humble point I am slowly trying to get across this great community is that ones location is no longer only their physical location.

I get the best advice from Americans so i am not dumping on them. Still very much in love.
But it earks me to quite extents to have to read through resources posted here for an old guy like me to get put off not looking forward to the conversion process of used units.

Now if this was indeed an American centrist web site then I would be totally out of place here rearing up my crazy head and uttering things to see if I could maybe nudge things a bit more metric.

It turns out though that this site is quite popular also over at the wrong side of the pond. Last statistic I have heard is 40% US 60% rest.

ohhh and honestly it is not the faernheit / Celsius conversion specifically. It's just one entry I saw because it was being made by @Hedges And I know by now that he can take some jokes coming from me. So in I went.

I'll try with other units with other people down the line perhaps.

All that we can do is continue as we have.
Everyone uses the units that they are used to. And Everyone else can convert them to their preferred units, if they are interested in the conversation.
It is what it is, in a global society.
